Impermanence, Svabhāva, and Śuka’s Resolve for Yoga
यदानुपश्यते5त्यन्तमहन्यहनि काश्यप । तदा स केवलीभूत: षड्विंशमनुपश्यति
yadānupaśyate ’tyantam ahany ahani kāśyapa | tadā sa kevalībhūtaḥ ṣaḍviṁśam anupaśyati ||
Yājñavalkya said: “O Kāśyapa, when a seeker, day after day, contemplates with utmost intensity the true nature of the Supreme Self, then—becoming ‘alone’ (free from all association with Prakṛti)—he directly realizes the twenty-sixth principle, the Supreme Lord beyond the twenty-five tattvas.”
