नारद–शुक संवादः

Impermanence, Svabhāva, and Śuka’s Resolve for Yoga

कस्तपा अतपाः प्रोक्त: को5सौ पुरुष उच्यते । तपास्तु प्रकृति प्राहुरतपा निष्कल: स्मृत:

Translation

“As for the question about ‘ka’, ‘tapā’, and ‘atapā’: the Puruṣa is what is called ‘ka’. Prakṛti bears the name ‘tapā’; and the partless Puruṣa is remembered as ‘atapā’.”
