अव्यक्त–प्रकृति–इन्द्रियविचारः

The Unmanifest, Prakṛtis, and the Sense-Complex

विस्तरा: क्लेशसंयुक्ता: संक्षेपास्तु सुखावहा: । परार्थ विस्तरा: सर्वे त्यागमात्महितं विदु:

Elaboration is joined with affliction, while brevity brings ease. All expansive activity is for an outward end—meant to gratify the mind and the senses—whereas renunciation (tyāga) is known to be for one’s own true good.
