सुकृतासुकृतं कर्म निषेव्य विविधै: क्रमै: । दशार्धप्रविभक्तानां भूतानां बहुधा गति:,जो प्राणी नाना प्रकारके क्रमसे पुण्य और पापकर्मका सेवन करके पज्चत्वको प्राप्त हो गये हैं अर्थात् स्थूल शरीरका त्याग कर देते हैं, उनको मिलनेवाली गति नाना प्रकारकी बतायी गयी है
Translation
Creatures, having engaged in meritorious and sinful deeds through many different sequences, are said to attain many kinds of destinies; for beings divided into fifteen parts (by their constituent elements), the course of their going is manifold.
