देवान् मनुष्यान् गन्धर्वानत्यरिच्यन्त दक्षिणा: | 'राजेन्द्र! प्राचीन कालमें अंगराजने ऐसे-ऐसे सौ यज्ञ किये थे और उन सबमें जो दक्षिणाएँ दी गयी थीं, वे देवताओं, गन्धर्वों और मनुष्योंके यज्ञोंसे बढ़ गयी थीं ।। न जातो जनिता नानन््य: पुमान् यः सम्प्रदास्यति
Translation
Vāyu said: “O king of kings! In ancient times the king of Aṅga performed a hundred such sacrifices, and the dakṣiṇās given in them surpassed the offerings in the sacrifices of gods, Gandharvas, and men. No other man—neither born nor yet to be born—will be able to bestow gifts in such a manner.”
