Chapter 29

अर्जुन बोले--माधव! शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले ये धर्मपुत्र युधिष्ठिर स्वयं भाई- बन्धुओंके शोकसे संतप्त हो शोकके समुद्रमें डूब गये हैं, आप इन्हें धीरज बँधाइये ।। सर्वे सम ते संशयिता: पुनरेव जनार्दन | अस्य शोकं महाबाहो प्रणाशयितुमरहसि

Arjuna uvāca—sarve sma te saṁśayitāḥ punar eva janārdana | asya śokaṁ mahābāho praṇāśayitum arhasi ||

Arjuna said: “O Mādhava, Dharmaputra Yudhiṣṭhira—who once made the foes burn—now burns with grief for brothers and kinsmen and has sunk into an ocean of sorrow. Steady him with fortitude. O Janārdana, we are again beset by doubt; O mighty-armed one, you ought to dispel this grief of his.”
