जरायुजाण्डजाश्वैव सहसा स्वेदजोद्धिजै: । ये तथा और भी बहुत-से चतुर्विध प्राणिसमुदाय जरायुज, अण्डज, स्वेदज और उद्भिज्ज वहाँ उपस्थित हुए थे

jarāyujāṇḍajāś caiva sahasā svedajodbhijaiḥ | ye tathā cāpare bahavaś caturvidha-prāṇi-samudāyā jarāyujā aṇḍajāḥ svedajā ud्भिजjāś ca tatra samupasthitā āsan ||

Vaiśampāyana said: There too were present, all at once, the fourfold classes of living beings—those born from the womb, those born from eggs, those born from sweat or moisture, and those that sprout from the earth—along with many other such groups.
