Bhishma said: “O Lord, so long as this blazing energy—this fever—remains in a single, undivided form, the entire earth will not be able to bear it. Therefore, O Lord, let it be created in many forms, distributed and diversified, so that the world may endure its force.”

Power (tejas) must be moderated and distributed so it does not overwhelm the world; even justified force should be shaped by responsibility and compassion to preserve cosmic and social stability.
Bhīṣma addresses a divine authority, warning that a single concentrated manifestation of a fiery fever-like force cannot be borne by the earth, and requests that it be divided into multiple forms so creation can sustain it.
