इयमिन्द्रादनुप्राप्ता ब्रह्म॒ुवध्या वराड़ना: । चतुर्थमस्या भागांशं॑ मयोक्ता: सम्प्रतीच्छत
Transliteration
iyam indrād anuprāptā brahmavadhyā varāḍanāḥ | caturtham asyā bhāgāṁśaṁ mayoktāḥ sampratīcchata ||
Translation
Bhishma said: “This ordinance has come down from Indra—an inviolable rule, protected by Brahmā, a boon that wards off harm. Therefore accept now its fourth share, as I have declared.”
