लुब्धैर्वित्तपरैर्ब्रह्मन् नास्तिकै: सम्प्रवर्तितम् । वेदवादानविज्ञाय सत्याभासमिवानृतम्,ब्रह्म! धन कमानेके प्रयत्नमें लगे हुए बहुत-से लोभी और नास्तिक पुरुषोंने वैदिक वचनोंका तात्पर्य न समझकर सत्य-से प्रतीत होनेवाले मिथ्या यज्ञोंका प्रचार कर दिया है
Translation
“O Brahmin, many greedy men, devoted to wealth and given to disbelief, have set such practices in motion; not understanding the purport of the Vedic words, they have propagated false sacrifices—untruths that wear the semblance of truth.”
