व्यास उवाच ब्रह्मचारी गृहस्थश्व वानप्रस्थो5थ भिक्षुक: । यथोक्तचारिण: सर्वे गच्छन्ति परमां गतिम्
Translation
Vyāsa said: “My son! The brahmacārin, the householder, the forest-dweller, and the renunciant—each, by performing the śāstra-prescribed duties of his own āśrama, attains the supreme goal.”
