भीष्म उवाच इत्युक्त: प्रत्युवाचेदं गन्धवत्या: सुत: सुतम् । ऋषिस्तत्पूजयन् वाक्यं पुत्रस्यामिततेजस:
Translation
Bhīṣma said: “O Yudhiṣṭhira! When he was questioned thus, the great ṛṣi Vyāsa—son of Gandhavatī (Satyavatī)—honoring the words of his son of immeasurable splendor, replied to him as follows.”
