नामथेयानि चर्षीणां याश्व वेदेषु सृष्टय:
nāmatheyāni carṣīṇāṃ yāśva vedeṣu sṛṣṭayaḥ
Vyāsa said: “And the appellations (names) of the seers, together with the various creations as described in the Vedas, are to be understood in that sacred tradition.”
