Shloka 31

सहस्रयुगपर्यन्तमहर्यद्ब्रह्म॒णो विदु: । रात्रि युगसहस्रान्तां तेडहोरात्रविदो जना:

sahasra-yuga-paryantam ahar yad brahmaṇo viduḥ | rātriṁ yuga-sahasrāntāṁ te 'ho-rātra-vido janāḥ ||

Vyāsa said: Those who truly understand the measure of day and night know that Brahmā’s “day” extends to the end of a thousand yugas, and that his “night” likewise ends after a thousand yugas. Thus, the wise discern time on a cosmic scale, beyond ordinary human reckoning.
