कर्म–ज्ञान–दैव–स्वभावविचारः
Inquiry into Karma, Knowledge, Fate, and Nature
दृढ्भक्तिरनिन्द्यात्मा श्रुतवाननृशंसवान् | वीतसम्मोहदोषश्न तस्मात् सर्वत्र पूजित:
dṛḍha-bhaktir anindyātmā śrutavān anṛśaṃsavān | vīta-sammoha-doṣaś ca tasmāt sarvatra pūjitaḥ ||
Vāyu said: “He bears unwavering devotion toward me; his inner nature is blameless and pure. He is learned and compassionate, and the faults born of delusion have fallen away from him. Therefore he is honored everywhere.”
वायुदेव उवाच
True honor arises from inner virtues: steadfast devotion, blameless character, learning guided by compassion, and the removal of delusion-born faults. Such a person becomes worthy of respect in every setting.
Vāyudeva is speaking in praise of a devotee’s qualities, explaining why that person is universally revered: his devotion to Vāyu, purity of heart, learning, kindness, and freedom from delusion.
