व्यास उवाच बीभत्सोर्वचनं सौम्य सत्यमेतद्‌ युधिष्ठिर । शास्त्रदृष्ट: परो धर्म: स्थितो गार्हस्थ्यमाश्रित:,व्यासजी बोले--सौम्य युधिष्ठिर! अर्जुनने जो बात कही है, वह ठीक है। शास्त्रोक्त परमधर्म गृहस्थ-आश्रमका ही आश्रय लेकर टिका हुआ है

Transliteration

vyāsa uvāca bībhatsor vacanaṃ saumya satyam etad yudhiṣṭhira | śāstradṛṣṭaḥ paro dharmaḥ sthito gārhasthyam āśritaḥ ||

Translation

Vyāsa said: “O gentle Yudhiṣṭhira, what Bībhatsu (Arjuna) has stated is indeed true. The highest dharma, as taught by the scriptures, stands firmly supported by the householder’s way of life.”
