Educational Q&A

Prosperity (Lakṣmī) is to be approached through reverence and ethical alignment: even powerful beings like Indra honor auspiciousness and virtue, implying that well-being is sustained by humility and dharmic conduct rather than mere power.

After Lakṣmī speaks, Nārada and Indra respond by offering praise and respectful acknowledgment to please her, underscoring her importance and the need to honor the source of fortune and auspiciousness.
