त्रिदशेषु निवत्स्यामो धर्मनिष्ठान्तरात्मसु । वे देवियाँ और मैं सब-के-सब उन असुरोंको त्यागकर तुम्हारे राज्यमें आयी हैं। देवताओंकी अन्तरात्मा धर्ममें निष्ठा रखनेवाली है; इसलिये अब हमलोग इन्हींके यहाँ निवास करेंगी

śakra uvāca | tridaśeṣu nivatsyāmo dharmaniṣṭhāntarātmasu |

Śakra said: “We shall dwell among the gods, whose inner selves are steadfastly established in dharma. Therefore, having abandoned those asuras, we—together with the goddesses—have come into your realm; let us now reside here among those whose conscience is anchored in righteousness.”
