योग–सांख्यसमन्वयः, रथोपमा, व्यक्त–अव्यक्तविवेकः

भिक्षां बलिमदत्त्वा च स्वयमन्नानि भुछ्जते | अनिष्ट्वाडसंविभज्याथ पितृदेवातिथीन्‌ गुरून्‌,देवताओं, पितरों, गुरुजनों तथा अतिथियोंका यजन-पूजन और उन्हें अन्नदान किये बिना, भिक्षादान और बलिवैश्वदेव-कर्मका सम्पादन किये बिना ही दैत्यलोग स्वयं भोजन कर लेते हैं

“Without giving alms or offering the bali (the Vaiśvadeva rite), and without first worshiping and feeding the gods, the ancestors, the teachers, and the guests, the Daityas simply eat for themselves.”
