Transliteration

evam uktaḥ sahasrākṣo bhagavān pākāśāsanaḥ

Translation

Bhīṣma said: Thus addressed, the thousand-eyed Lord—Indra, the chastiser of Pāka—responded, taking up the matter in a way befitting his divine authority and concern for righteous order.
