प्रलय-प्रक्रिया (Pralaya Process) — Guṇa-Withdrawal and Pratisaṃcara
श्रीरुवाच एष मे निहित: पादो यो<यं भूमौ प्रतिष्ित: । द्वितीयं शक्र पादं मे तस्मात् सुनिहितं कुरु
Śrīr uvāca: eṣa me nihitaḥ pādo yo 'yaṃ bhūmau pratiṣṭhitaḥ | dvitīyaṃ Śakra pādaṃ me tasmāt sunihitaṃ kuru ||
Śrī (Lakṣmī) said: “This one foot of mine, which is set upon the earth, has been firmly established here. Therefore, O Śakra (Indra), make my second foot also well-established.”
शक्र उवाच
Prosperity (Śrī/Lakṣmī) requires stable foundations; ethical order and good governance must ‘establish’ fortune fully, not partially, so that well-being becomes secure and enduring.
Śrī addresses Indra, stating that one of her ‘feet’ is already firmly set on earth and asking him to establish her second foot as well—an image of completing the conditions that allow prosperity to stand securely.
