ब्रह्मण्यो<यं पुरा भूत्वा सत्यवादी जितेन्द्रिय: । अभ्यसूयद् ब्राह्मणानामुच्छिष्ट श्षास्पृशद् घृतम्
Translation
Formerly he was devoted to the brāhmaṇas, a speaker of truth, and one who had conquered his senses; but later he grew envious and fault-finding toward the brāhmaṇas, and he even touched ghee (ghṛta) with hands defiled by food remnants.
