स वर्षति सम वर्षाणि यथाकालमतन्द्रित: । तं बलिं नाधिगच्छामि ब्रद्य॒ुन्नाचक्ष्य मे बलिम्‌,“वही यथासमय आलस्य छोड़कर सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें प्रकाशित होता, वही अस्त होता और वही वर्षा करता था। ब्रह्मन! उस बलिको मैं ढूँढ़नेपर भी नहीं पा रहा हूँ। आप मुझे राजा बलिका पता बताइये

Translation

He sent down rain in due season, evenly and without sloth; he shone forth in every quarter, he set, and he it was who made the rains fall. O Brahmin, though I seek Bali, I cannot find him. Tell me where King Bali is.
