ननृतुस्तत्र गन्धर्वा: घट सहस्राणि सप्तधा | एक समय था, जब कि तुम्हारे ऊपर सोनेका बना हुआ रत्नभूषित विशाल छत्र तना रहता था और छ: हजार गन्धर्व सप्त स्वरोंमें गीत गाते हुए तुम्हारे सम्मुख अपनी नृत्यकलाका प्रदर्शन करते थे

nanṛtus tatra gandharvāḥ ghaṭa-sahasrāṇi saptadhā |

Śakra said: “There, the Gandharvas danced—by the thousands, arranged in seven groups. Once, a vast golden parasol, studded with jewels, was held spread above you, while six thousand Gandharvas, singing in the seven notes, displayed their art of dance before you.”
