Śrī–Indra–Bali Saṃvāda: The Departure and Fourfold Placement of Lakṣmī

आसुरे: प्रथमं शिष्यं यमाहुश्चिरजीविनम् । पजञ्चस्रोतसि य: सत्रमास्ते वर्षमहस्रिकम्,उन्हें आसुरि मुनिका प्रथम शिष्य और चिरंजीवी बताया जाता है। उन्होंने एक हजार वर्षोतक मानस यज्ञका अनुष्ठान किया था
Transliteration
āsureḥ prathamaṃ śiṣyaṃ yam āhuś cirajīvinam | pañca-srotasi yaḥ satram āste varṣa-sahasrikam ||
Translation
Bhīṣma said: “They describe him as the first disciple of the sage Āsuri and as one who is long-lived. At Pañcasrotas he undertook a sacrificial session (satra) that continued for a thousand years.”
