अन्तर्भूमिगता घोरा निवसन्ति सहस्रश: । शमयिष्यति तच्छुत्वा जह्ृषु: सुरसत्तमा:,“वे सहस्रों घोर दैत्य और दानवाधम भूमिके भीतर पाताललोकमें निवास करते हैं; भगवान् वाराह वेगपूर्वक वहीं जाकर उन सबका विनाश कर देंगे। यह सुनकर सभी श्रेष्ठ देवता हर्षसे खिल उठे
Translation
Those dreadful demons dwell by the thousand beneath the earth, in the realm of Pātāla. Hearing that he would subdue them, the foremost of the gods rejoiced.
