इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ाभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत मोक्षधर्मपर्वमें भगु-भरद्वाजके संवादके प्रयंगें जीवके स्वरूपका निरूपणविषयक एक सौ सतासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṃ Śrīmahābhārate Śāntiparvake antargate Mokṣadharmaparvaṇi Bhṛgu-Bharadvājayoḥ saṃvādasya prasaṅge jīvasya svarūpanirūpaṇaviṣayaka ekaśatasaptāśītamo ’dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.
Thus ends the one hundred and eighty-seventh chapter of the Mokṣadharma section within the Śānti Parva of the Śrī Mahābhārata, in the context of the dialogue between Bhṛgu and Bharadvāja, expounding the true nature of the individual self (jīva).
