इत्येतै: कर्मभिरवव्यस्ता द्विजा वर्णान्तरं गता: । धर्मो यज्ञक्रिया तेषां नित्यं न प्रतिषिध्यते,इन्हीं कर्मोंके कारण ब्राह्मणत्वसे अलग होकर वे सभी ब्राह्मण दूसरे-दूसरे वर्णके हो गये, किंतु उनके लिये नित्यधर्मानुष्ठान और यज्ञकर्मका कभी निषेध नहीं किया गया है
Translation
By these very deeds, the twice-born, separated from Brahminhood, passed into other varṇas. Yet for them there was never any standing prohibition against the daily observances of dharma and the performance of sacrificial rites (yajña).
