ध्यानयोगवर्णनम्

Description of the Path of Meditation

आत्मानं तं विजानीहि सर्वलोकहितात्मकम्‌ | तस्मिन्‌ य: संश्रितो देहे हाब्बिन्दुरिव पुष्करे,तुम क्षेत्रज््को आत्मा ही समझो। वह सर्वलोक-हितकारी है। इस शरीरमें रहकर भी वह कमल-पत्रपर पड़े हुए जलबिन्दुकी तरह वास्तवमें इससे पृथक्‌ ही है

ātmānaṃ taṃ vijānīhi sarvalokahitātmakam | tasmin yaḥ saṃśrito dehe haṃsabindur iva puṣkare ||

Bharadvāja said: Know that Self to be the one whose very nature is the welfare of all worlds. Though it abides supported within the body, it remains in truth separate from it—like a drop of water resting on a lotus leaf.
