आर्त: स पतित: क्रुद्धस्त्यक्त्वा55त्मानमथाब्रवीत् । मरिष्याम्यधनस्येह जीवितार्थों न विद्यते,वे पीड़ासे कराहकर गिर पड़े और कुपित होकर आत्महत्याके लिये उद्यत हो इस प्रकार बोले--“अब मैं प्राण दे दूँगा; क्योंकि इस संसारमें निर्धन मनुष्यका जीवन व्यर्थ है!
Translation
Afflicted, fallen low, and inflamed with anger, he abandoned himself and said: “Now I shall give up my life; for in this world the life of a poor man is without purpose.”
