उत जाता: सुनक्षत्रे सुतिथौ सुमुहूर्तजा: । यज्ञदानप्रजेहायां यतन्ते शक्तिपूर्वकम्,“जो उत्तम नक्षत्र, उत्तम तिथि और उत्तम मुहूर्तमें पैदा हुए हैं, वे अपनी शक्तिके अनुसार यज्ञ एवं दान करते और न्यायानुकूल संतानोत्पादनकी चेष्टा भी करते हैं
Transliteration
uta jātāḥ sunakṣatre sutithau sumuhūrtajāḥ | yajñadānaprajehāyāṃ yatante śaktipūrvakam ||
Translation
Bhishma said: “Those who are born under an auspicious constellation, on an auspicious lunar day, and at an auspicious moment strive with all the strength they possess to perform sacrifices and give gifts, and they also endeavor to beget offspring in a manner consistent with justice and dharma.”
