Doctrine of Creation from the Unmanifest ‘Mānasa’
अत्र पिड़लया गीता गाथा: श्रूयन्ति पार्थिव । यथा सा कृच्छूकालेडपि लेभे धर्म सनातनम्
atra piḍalayā gītā gāthāḥ śrūyante pārthiva | yathā sā kṛcchrakāle 'pi lebhe dharmaṃ sanātanam, rājan ||
O king, in this matter there are verses sung by Piḍalā that are still heard. Following the purport of those songs, she attained the eternal Dharma even in a time of severe distress.
ब्राह्मण उवाच
That Dharma is not contingent on comfort: even amid hardship one can attain the eternal moral order by adhering to time-tested instruction (gāthās) and acting accordingly.
A Brahmin speaker addresses a king and cites the well-known songs/verses attributed to Piḍalā as authoritative tradition, stating that by following their guidance she attained sanātana-dharma even during a crisis.
