निर्वेदोपदेशः (Nirveda-Upadeśa) — Maṅki’s Dispassion and the Limits of Wealth-Seeking
वह्लिं चापि सुसंदीप्तं मीनांश्वापि सुपीवरान् । स गौतमायातिथये न्यवेदयत काश्यपि:,कश्यपके उस पुत्रने अग्नि प्रजजलित कर दी और मोटे-मोटे मत्स्य लाकर अपने अतिथि गौतमको अर्पित कर दिये
vahliṁ cāpi susandīptaṁ mīnānś cāpi supīvarān | sa gautamāyātithaye nyavedayat kāśyapiḥ ||
Bhīṣma said: He also kindled the sacrificial fire so that it blazed brightly, and brought large, well-fattened fish. Thus did the son of Kaśyapa present these offerings to the sage Gautama, who had arrived as a guest.
