Yudhiṣṭhira said: When a person truly perceives the seemingly separate existence of all beings as resting in the one Supreme Self, and understands that the entire expanse of creatures unfolds from that very Reality, then at that moment he attains Brahman—pure being, consciousness, and bliss.

Liberation arises from right vision: recognizing that the apparent multiplicity of beings is grounded in one Supreme Reality, and that all manifestation proceeds from that One. This insight undermines attachment, hatred, and pride, supporting dharmic conduct rooted in equality and compassion.
In the Śānti Parva’s instruction on peace and higher wisdom, Yudhiṣṭhira voices a teaching on spiritual realization: the seeker who perceives all beings as established in the One and as emanating from it reaches Brahman.
