tasmin girivare putra puṣpitadrumakānane | tasthau sa vibudhaśreṣṭho brahmā lokārthasiddhaye ||
O son, on that excellent mountain—whose groves were filled with flowering trees—Brahmā, the foremost among the gods, took his stand there in order to accomplish what was needed for the welfare and ordering of the worlds.
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights divine action undertaken for lokārtha—purpose and welfare of the worlds—suggesting that true authority and power are meant to serve cosmic order and the common good rather than private ends.
Bhīṣma addresses Nakula and describes Brahmā arriving at and remaining upon a splendid mountain covered with flowering groves, staying there to accomplish a task connected with the welfare and proper functioning of the worlds.
