लोभात्‌ क्रोध: प्रभवति परदोषैरुदीर्यते

lobhāt krodhaḥ prabhavati paradoṣair udīryate

Bhishma said: From greed, anger is born, and it is further inflamed by dwelling on the faults of others—thus a person’s inner discipline collapses and ethical judgment is clouded.
