गृहानुत्सृज्य यो राजन्‌ मोक्षमेवाभिपद्यते । लोकास्तेजोमयास्तस्य कल्पन्ते शाश्वती: समा:,राजन! जो घर-बार को छोड़कर मोक्षमार्गाका ही आश्रय लेता है, उसे अनन्त वर्षोके लिये दिव्य तेजोमय लोक प्राप्त होते हैं

gṛhān utsṛjya yo rājan mokṣam evābhipadyate | lokās tejo-mayās tasya kalpante śāśvatīḥ samāḥ ||

Bhīṣma said: “O King, one who renounces household life and takes refuge solely in the path of liberation attains radiant, divine realms—worlds made of spiritual splendor—enduring for countless years.”
