भीष्म उवाच शृणु राजन् कथां दिव्यां सर्वपापप्रणाशिनीम् । नृपतेर्मुचुकुन्दस्य कथितां भार्गवेण वै,भीष्मजीने कहा--राजन्! वह दिव्य कथा सुनो, जो सब पापोंका नाश करनेवाली है। परशुरामजीने राजा मुचुकुन्दको यह कथा सुनायी थी
bhīṣma uvāca śṛṇu rājan kathāṃ divyāṃ sarvapāpapraṇāśinīm | nṛpater mucukundasya kathitāṃ bhārgaveṇa vai ||
Bhishma said: “O King, listen to this divine tale, a destroyer of all sin. It was narrated by the Bhargava (Parashurama) to King Muchukunda.”
