Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)

गृहस्नेहावबद्धानां नराणामल्पमेधसाम्‌ । कुस्त्री खादति मांसानि माघमां सेगवा इव,घरकी आसत्तिमें बँधें हुए मन्दबुद्धि मनुष्योंके मांसोंको कुटिल स्त्री खा जाती है अर्थात्‌ उसे सुखा डालती है, जैसे केकड़ेकी मादाको उसकी संतानें ही नष्ट कर देती हैं

Men of little understanding, bound fast by attachment to the household, are “eaten in their flesh” by a crooked woman—meaning that she drains away their strength and dries up their happiness. It is like the female crab, destroyed by her own offspring.
