Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)

वधबन्धकृतं दुःखं स्वीकृतं सहजं तथा । दुःखं सुतेन सततं जनान्‌ विपरिवर्तते,वध और बन्धनसे भी सबको दुःख होता है। स्त्रीके कारण और स्वाभाविक रूपसे भी दुःख हुआ करता है तथा पुत्र यदि नष्ट हो जाय या दुष्ट निकल जाय तो उससे भी लोगोंको सदा दु:ख प्राप्त होता रहता है

Suffering wrought by killing and by bondage befalls everyone. There is suffering one takes upon oneself, and suffering that arises naturally as well. And suffering also comes through a son: if a son is lost, or if he turns out wicked, people are continually afflicted.
