Draupadī’s Exhortation on Rājadharma and Daṇḍa (द्रौपद्याः राजधर्मोपदेशः)
त्वं तु सर्वा महीं त्यक्त्वा कुरुषे स््वयमापदम् । ये सब लोग आपको समझानेका प्रयत्न कर रहे हैं
tvaṃ tu sarvāṃ mahīṃ tyaktvā kuruṣe svayam āpadam |
Vaiśampāyana said: “Yet you, abandoning the whole earth—indeed the sovereignty of the world—are yourself bringing calamity upon your own head. Though many people strive to counsel you, you do not attend to them; what I say at this moment is not false. By renouncing the kingdom of the entire earth, you are deliberately creating misfortune for yourself.”
