Educational Q&A

Maintain composure and restraint; do not rush or panic. Wise action depends on understanding the right moment (kāla), and Time/destiny should never be treated frivolously.

In the Shanti Parva’s instruction-setting, Bhishma addresses a listener with calming counsel, urging silence and steadiness, emphasizing that those present know the proper timing and that one must not make light of Time’s power.
