सो5हं वागग्रविद्यानां रसानामवलेहिता । स्वजात्यानधितिष्ठामि नक्षत्राणीव चन्द्रमा:
so 'haṃ vāg-agra-vidyānāṃ rasānām avalehitā | sva-jātyān adhitiṣṭhāmi nakṣatrāṇīva candramāḥ ||
Prahlāda said: “I stand at the forefront of the sciences of speech, tasting and drawing forth their essences (rasas). I preside over my own kind, as the moon presides over the stars.”
