सहस्व श्रियमन्येषां यद्यपि त्वयि नास्ति सा । अन्यत्रापि सतीं लक्ष्मी कुशला भुज्जते सदा

Transliteration

sahasva śriyam anyeṣāṃ yadyapi tvayi nāsti sā | anyatrāpi satīṃ lakṣmīṃ kuśalā bhuñjate sadā ||

Translation

Bhīṣma said: Endure it when prosperity belongs to others, even if it is not present in you. For capable and discerning people always know how to enjoy and make good use of fortune wherever it may reside.
