भूत्वा च न भवत्येतदभूत्वा च भविष्यति । शोके न हाूस्ति सामर्थ्य शोकं॑ कुर्यात् कथंचन
Translation
This royal fortune, even when it comes, does not remain; and to those who do not possess it, it may yet arrive. But grief has no power to bring back wealth that has departed; therefore one should not lament in any way.
