Sañjaya said: O King, thereafter all the rulers—whose thick arms were like iron clubs—blew their respective conches and, with satisfaction, went to their camps to rest. And as the Pāṇḍavas were proceeding toward our camp, O lord of men, the great bowmen followed behind them—Yuyutsu and Sātyaki as well.

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights disciplined closure after battle—leaders signal, regroup, and rest—while also underscoring loyalty and orderly following of rightful command in a war setting.

After the day’s events, the kings blow their conches and return to their camps to rest. As the Pāṇḍavas move toward the camp, renowned archers—specifically Yuyutsu and Sātyaki—follow behind them.
