संजय उवाच इत्युक्ते धर्मराजेन वासुदेवो<ब्रवीदिदम्‌ । काममस्त्वेतदिति वै कृच्छाद्‌ यदुकुलोद्धह:,संजय कहते हैं--राजन्‌! धर्मराजके ऐसा कहनेपर यदुकुलश्रेष्ठ भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णने बड़े कष्टसे यह कहा कि “अच्छा, ऐसा ही सही”

sañjaya uvāca | ity ukte dharmarājena vāsudevo 'bravīd idam | kāmam astv etad iti vai kṛcchrād yadukuloddhahaḥ ||

Sañjaya said: When Dharmarāja had spoken thus, Vāsudeva—Kṛṣṇa, foremost of the Yadu line—replied with difficulty, “So be it; let it be as you wish.”
