Educational Q&A

The verse affirms an all-pervading divine feminine power: the Goddess is present within every being and manifests in multiple functional forms, implying that worldly capacities (prosperity, intelligence, accomplishment, sacred utterance) ultimately arise from and are governed by that higher principle.

Vasiṣṭha addresses a supreme Goddess/Śakti in praise, declaring her immanence in all creatures and her fourfold manifestation, situating the world’s powers and outcomes under her sovereignty.
