Shloka 43

ततो देवो मुनि दृष्टवा हर्षाविष्टमतीव ह । सुराणां हितकामार्थ महादेवो5भ्यभाषत,मुनिको हर्षके आवेशसे अत्यन्त मतवाला हुआ देख महादेवजीने (ब्राह्मणका रूप धारण करके) देवताओंके हितके लिये उनसे इस प्रकार कहा--

tato devo munir dṛṣṭvā harṣāviṣṭam atīva ha | surāṇāṁ hitakāmārthaṁ mahādevo 'bhyabhāṣata ||

Then Mahādeva, seeing the divine sage utterly overcome with joy, addressed him for the welfare of the gods—speaking with the intention of securing what was beneficial to the devas.
