Vaiśaṃpāyana said: “Bring at once all the requisites meant for the sacred rite—everything needed for the pilgrimage and holy observance.” The command stresses urgent, proper preparation, so that going to a tīrtha is not mere travel, but a disciplined act of dharma supported by fitting offerings and materials.

Sacred acts require timely, disciplined preparation. A tīrtha-journey or rite becomes ethically meaningful when supported by proper requisites and intentional readiness, reflecting respect for dharma rather than casual or negligent practice.
The narrator Vaiśaṃpāyana reports an urgent instruction to gather all necessary supplies for a tīrtha-related observance—i.e., to assemble the full set of ritual/journey requisites without delay.
